A question for consultants out there. How many folk have had survey work interfered with/ compromised by the work of other consultants? If so what actions (if any) did you take?

It seems to me that professional ecologists should respect the work undertaken by others and minimise conflicts between projects where-ever possible. I know that if I was asked to survey a site and discovered that another survey was already in progress, I would do my upmost to identify the other interested party and reach a compromise over survey conduct...

I guess that's just me though...
