Today I looked under one of my covers and there were four frogs huddled together as well as numerous slow worms. The frogs were all the same size (sub-adult bit bigger than 50p piece). Now there was a frog this size in the same spot a few weeks ago. Then there were two and next three and now four. I find the size of them being the same interesting as I had the same thing with some small toads under a plastic sheet some years ago - all the same size. Like the toads the frogs like to use the exact same spot under the sheet, however many are there.
Has anyone any ideas on this same size grouping in frogs and toads?
