Hello everybody,
I joined this forum hoping to find people who like marsh frogs and know where one can see them. Would love to make some new friends, get some advice on where to find frogs. I am in UK for next few months... Besides frogs I also like driving. I am in Cheltenham, Glos. |

Hi, Kent is a good place to find them!
There is a UK distribution map in this publication: It's a direct link to the pdf download, so don't be surprised if it starts to download the file immediately. |

You're guaranteed to see them at the London Wetland Centre - even in the ditch beside the car park. Also at RSPB Rainham Marshes in Essex. Good hunting!

Ham Wall RSPB reserve in Somerset is a brilliant place for them. Mind you although you can hear them I think seeing them might be difficult as they are hidden in ditches etc. that are not accessible, although maybe there are places you can get close enough.

The Somerset ARG have been doing some genetics on these and it looks like they may be Iberian water frogs, full results pending... But a good place to see them none-the-less
