Hi Lesley

A hurried reply I'm afraid. A conservatory is not really the best place for a lizard. Their natural habitat is an area of reasonably dense vegetation with open spaces for basking. You certainly did exactly the right thing and it will doubtless sort itself out now - so long as it can avoid cats!
