blade basking, I'd say Suz - this clever snake is absorbing warmth by radiation and conduction on either side, like a cheese toastie! lovely snake, I like the arrowhead 'V' marking especially.

I've never seen an adder on top of a tin. Neither have I ever seen a lizard on a tin either.
