walking down a town path today and this jumped out in front of my camera phone, I had to take a snap as to the wonderful colours all I have managed to snap as late I think its called a leaf? .

Beautiful Keith. I always wondered what those things were called!

Here's 4 native Geraniums from a Devon roadside in May:

Cut-leaved Cranesbill, Shining Cranesbill, Herb Robert and Hedgerow Cranesbill:



and the flowers:



(Actually, Hedgerow Cranesbill is established alien)

Shame the herps will soon be disappearing but at least we've got plenty of autumn colours to enjoy eh?

Proof if any were needed that wild flowers are just as beautiful, if not more so, than garden cultivars Thumbs Up

We should be in for a colourful autumn this year if the weather keeps nice Smile
