Well heres another sad habitat site getting burnt to a crisp, dread to think what fauna was destroyed in this fire at Ham common in Dorset this last week of extreme heat, bet Will & Tony Phelps would be horrified Keith Edited by AGILIS - 28 Jul 2013 at 11:26am |

sure am, Keith, it's always sad to see decades of heathland development going up in smoke in a few hours especially when due to arsonists or those lanterns. Trying to be positive, the warm weather this summer should have allowed sand lizard hatching success (not before time, too)...

Lets hope so "Will" after all the damp and cold it shold have well helped with hatchings then be sad to think they were wiped out by a fire. keith
