Yes another site is lost to development in Sudbury Suffolk in late 2006   due to housing development .  But I would like to say thanks to the outstanding work carried out  mr.George Millins Suffolk arg And his colleagues for rescueing another lot of reptiles totaling over 550 lacerta vivips and well over 100 sloworms a grass snake and some frogs  were saved and transported to a safer haven for how long ? . l cannot  imagine how many  perished but going by the numbers caught you can only imagine the by  percentage lossed in capture as we all no what we can miss .this also is  including hedehogs and birds   keith

2 of 3 local ponds to me that housed great crested newts were built over for extending a local college.
the london wildlife site set up by the mayor of london still lists them as being present years after they disappeared!!
