Had snoop around 630 am quite a few lizards about even our local red ears were about the rest of the day after 10am was to hot I was going for look this evening but a few cold beers have dampened my enthusiasm. keith

Yes Keith I know it's the best time. As a youngster I used to be out very early (and half the night!) fishing. Lovely memories of walking across fields just before it got light with deer barking and running off and a barn owl flying past. If it was misty, nearly walking into grazing cows!

Oh yeap, best time of day for reptile-ing at the moment. That is why i don't like long, hot weather as it means working even harder. Very early start for me this am, and another one on the cards for Weds, Thurs and Friday but it is cooling down at the weekend. Regards SE Reptile Ecologist |

Had a look on one of the suburban sights of Sudbury around midday loads of mainly gravids basking in the midday out breaks of sun on every available suntrap.
