Well to hot for herping so next best thing ,and a bit cooler some of our local chub coming up to the mill pool ranging up to the odd 4lb-der. this is at the Mill Hotel Sudbury spotted these whilst quaffing a cold beer today keith

That's a beauty Keith. If you are over that way, take a walk up to the weir in Glemsford. Just past the island that is on the other side of the river you can find some real whoppers. We use to feed them lumps of cheese!

Yep know where you mean Gemma I used to fish there for them also using big balls of cheese,cant afford it now, and also loads of crayfish in the river there but the signal crays are taking over. keith

Here's a nice Pollack Jr. from my recent Shetland jaunt. The picture does an injustice to the true vibrancy of its orange coat, however....
Sadly of all the brown trout i caught i never took one pic. The Brown Trout is surely the most handsome of our native fish with the exception of maybe the Perch. Cheers
