An hour after finding some adders at a local site,i got a call from a distant reletive to come and remove a snake from their garden .Although they live reletively close to some potential habitat and h ave newts in their pond,I was still a little surprised they had a snake in their garden.
On arriving in their garden I found a corn snake curled up inside a plantpot taking in some rays.I have removed the little cutey and am trying to find the owner or someone local to rehouse it.Will try and get a photo soon ,just letting it get settled back down.Wish I could keep it but the wife is going to kill me when she finds out I have brought it back home even for one night.Cryl
