Research Centres to be Scrapped

   Not quite sure if this was news or off-topic, so I thought I post here on the safe side. According to yesterdays Independent the government is to scrap the ecological and hydrological research centres at Monks Wood, Winfrith and Bachory, at the loss of 200 scientific jobs.
