All, Can anyone shed any light on whether or not the IUCN guidelines are generally adopted by consultants working on reptile mitigations, relevance of the guidelines etc. http://www.iucn.org/themes/ssc/pubs/policy/exsituen.htm Many thanks Edited by administrator |

Most consultants are not even aware the guidelines exist....

That makes me feel better as neither was I. Had a call from Somerset someone monitoring a development site, the consultant reassured him that he would be using the IUCN guidelines, just wondered if this is normal practice or not.
